SPEER SPRING CEMETERY ASSOCIATION

This association helps to keep the grounds at the cemetery in a neat condition by grass mowing, trimming around the head stones, picking up debris from the highway and many other jobs that are needed to be done. The mowing season begins in early April and continues until November.  We mow every 2 weeks and it is sometimes difficult to keep it looking nice in the spring and early summer. The flags are received from Washington County the week before Memorial Day and because the flags become tattered and torn, we decided to remove them the week after Labor Day, as a sign of respect to the flag.

We have approximately 30 members but all are not active.  If you would like to serve on this church board, please call Bill Brennan .
