11,18	NEW MEMBERS CLASSES Enrollment for new member’s class is now open. Classes will be held May 4th, 11th and 18th during the 9:45AM Sunday School hour. Candidates will be received June 1st. 17	INNS AND CASTLES OF THE ALLEGHENIES Hosted by Active Christian Seniors Join us for a fully escorted day, featuring inns and castles of the Alleghenies with sights, food and fun at each stop. We will depart from the Canonsburg United Presbyterian church parking lot at 7:00 am via deluxe motorcoach transportation. Visits on the trip include: · Mt. Savage Castle (Sweet Rolls, Pastries, Coffee & Tea) · Frostburg’s Hotel Gunter (Fruit, Cheese & Teas) · Coal Heritage Trail’s The Shaw Mansion Inn (Soup & Salad) · Inn at Flock’s Mill (Main Course) · Gordon-Roberts History House (Victorian Tea with Desserts) Estimated time of return is 8:00 pm. 9	ACS LUNCHEON Our 11 am program features John Lege, “That Guy with Birds”. John is an exotic parrot hobbyist and rescuer of abused and neglected parrots. He joins us to share his experiences and stories. For lunch, we will be having a picnic menu! Cost of lunch is $6/per person. Please RSVP by June 6, 2008.
16	AUSTRALIA IN PICTURES @2pm We are glad to welcome Turla Papay, a native of Peters Township and childhood friend of Valerie Farquharson. Turla is the English Department Chair of Rollins College in Florida. She is an avid traveler and will be sharing her Australian adventures.

Campers in grades 1-4 must be able to attend both consecutive weeks of reading camp. Pre-testing for all registered students is scheduled for Wednesday, July 9th. For more details or to register, please call Sue Zoog. This program is sponsored by the Library Task Force using Christian literary materials.
