The Cherub Choir
This is a very energetic group of children that meet every Sunday morning at 9:00 in the Youth Room for practice. This group performs once a month at our 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. services. All Children in grades 1st through 5th are invited to attend. This is a great way to start kids to learn to read music and praise the Lord through song. Come join the fun! Mrs. Zaharko would love to have you!
Hi Choir
This group is made up of youth in grades 6th through 12th that enjoy singing their praises to the Lord through contemporary Christian music. They perform each month at both of our services as well as perform during our Youth Services. They meet each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. in our Choir room.
The Bell Choir
This twelve-member group has been a fixture in the
music department for over twelve years. Performing on the Marguerite Rankin Memorial Handbells, the Bell choir has gained a reputation of being one of the area's finest
performing handbell choirs.
As well as playing every month for both services, this group is pleased
to perform on the road, representing the Canonsburg U.P. Church at many area retirement
centers, public gatherings and other churches. They also accompany the Chancel Choir in
various anthems.
This group meets Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
The Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is one of our church's largest
weekly meeting groups. This fun-loving and determined group is now over 50 members strong.
The choir provides music for every Sunday morning 11:00am service and soloists from the
choir provide music for many of the 8:30am services. Other services that this group
provides their talents for include Christmas Eve, Vesper, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday,
Thanksgiving and other events where special music is desired.
Our goal is to bring to the congregation the finest Christian music, assist the congregation in praising God, and bring His message of salvation in song.
The Chancel Choir meets every Wednesday at 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. for rehearsal in our Choir Room.
