At Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church, we believe in sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ to all we meet with care, compassion and Christian love. We strive to achieve this by living out God’s love and grace through our relationships within our family, church and community.

As followers of Jesus, we believe in sharing God’s love in our community through a variety of ministries include Canonsburg-Houston Food Pantry, Family Promise, hospital and homebound visitation, Thanksgiving Dinner, and much more. Visit Our Outreach page to learn more.
We believe that studying God’s Word with others is vital to growing our faith. We have Sunday School and Small Groups for ages 2-102. Learn more here.
UP With Kids Childcare Center is our Christian based childcare center for ages 6 weeks thru 12 years of age. Our motto states, “lots of love and learning for little ones” and is our primary goal for God’s children. Every child will receive loving care, special attention, and will have a quality learning environment. Each day the children will be engaged in activities that encourage self-worth, interaction with others, and promote cognitive and intellectual development. Click here for more information.
Rev. Tom Hamilton
Senior Pastor
Rev. Tom Hamilton has been with CUPC since 2005. He was ordained in 1991 as Minister of the Word and Sacrament after graduating with a Master of Divinity degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. His undergraduate study was at Pennsylvania State University. This is Tom’s third pastorate.
Tom and his wife, Marilynn, have lived in western Pennsylvania all of their lives. Marilynn’s son, Jason, lives and works in Columbus, Ohio. Their enjoyment of time is with Jason, friends, walking, bicycling and any time together.
