In partnership with TWOgether Pittsburgh (www.twogetherpgh.org), Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church offers couples FREE programs throughout the year for any stage of a relationship. Here is a snapshot of some of the programs that are offered.

• “How to Avoid Marrying A Jerk” – a new program offered by TWOgether Pittsburgh. Single Adults face a unique challenge in our culture. Many seriously desire to be married and want to make sound choices. Making use of the curriculum “How to Avoid Marrying a Jerk,” this program will equip single adults with some skills to make a good long term relational decision.
  
  
• Marriage Prep - What happens after the band stops playing and the guests go home? We’ll give you the tools to build a vital and fulfilling marriage - and prepare you to navigate the routines, trivialities, pressures and joys of sharing your hopes and days with a loving partner. We’ll touch on Effective Communication, Conflict Resolution, Genuine Intimacy, Financial Management, Family Backgrounds and more!



• Marriage Enrichment - You wouldn't trade your partner for anything. (After all, who would finish your sentences?). Kids, jobs, bills and the general stress of life can strain even the best of us. You have a relatively healthy marriage, but you want to enrich or enhance your relationship because you recognize it’s the most important facet of your life. We’ll show you how to enhance the health and vitality of your marriage - and help you refine the skills that sustain, improve and enrich your relationship.
  
  
• Marriage Mentoring - A very wise man once said, “You know more about a road by having traveled it.” Marriage Mentoring is about enhancing the health and vitality of marriages by pairing couples who have experience in the marital relationship with those who could profit from such experience.
