Where I See Jesus – A Reflection

“Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.” – John 14:19

Dear Friends,

The past three weeks, and for the next three weeks, we’re talking about how Jesus is Everywhere.  I tried to point him out in a movie and a book and in nature – and this Sunday I’ll give music a shot too.  But these are just examples.  The truth is you have been seeing Jesus too.

Today, I want to highlight something from Elder, Dan Dodd.  One of Dan’s passions is fishing.  And he’s really good.  He’ll probably say his son Brody is even better.  Dan was sharing in Monday’s Session meeting about how work, and some stressors at work, have been piling up, so he took some time to get away and reset.  His favorite way to do that is to get outdoors.  Not just the backyard or the local park, but way outdoors.  Where he doesn’t hear a car or see an airplane, where he can’t get good cell service and he’s not bothered by nagging interruptions.  And he can just be still, and see God.

Better than I can describe it though, he can show it.  I posted the short video he shot to our YouTube & Facebook accounts, but if you haven’t been there, here it is.

I hope you too, can See Jesus there, and hear God’s message.  And if you ask nicely, Dan may even give you the GPS coordinates – if you promise not to interrupt him out there, with Jesus.

Welcoming You to See Jesus, and Grow in Jesus too!
