The DeZomba Community Grant has been provided through the generosity of Frank DeZomba
Frank was born on May 10, 1927, in McDonald, Pennsylvania. He and his mother, Mildred, joined Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church in 1940; first at Central Presbyterian Church and then Chartiers United Presbyterian Church.
Frank was known as “Bud” to his friends, and he owned a successful insurance agency. He loved gardening and investing in the stock market. Frank was a good conversationalist, was up to date on world affairs, and expressed his generosity by including Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church in his estate planning. Frank passed peacefully into the arms of Christ on February 10, 2021.
Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church will honor Frank DeZomba’s love and desire to give to others with a DeZomba Garden at the front of our church as a welcoming place to gather; through Regional, National, and International Mission Tithes; and with the creation of the DeZomba Community Foundation Grant. Through this grant, the annual earnings will be available to individuals and groups outside of the Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church to fund outreach ministries and projects, spreading the love of Christ far and wide for years to come.
We thank God for His faithfulness through the gift of Frank DeZomba.
