Children's Moment and Children's Church
Every Sunday, all children are invited to the front as Pastor Don presents a brief lesson just for the kids. Following the Children's Moment, children in kindergarten through third grade are dismissed to Children's Church, a special service just for kids.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School will be held July 6 - 10, 2020. This year's Vacation Bible School theme will be "To Mars and Beyond". Your kids will become voyagers on a journey through space exploring where God's Power can take them. We are excited for an out of this world adventure for kids ages 4 - Grade 6.
The Cherub Choir is a group of children in Kindergarten-6th grade who love to sing songs to the God who loves them. It is an energetic and enthusiastic group. They meet in the Choir Room (#206) Sunday mornings at 9:00-9:30 AM. Parental encouragement for participation is greatly appreciated.
Sonshine Station is our youth & family ministry program which happens each Sunday at 9:45 AM. It’s a place for preschoolers-6th graders to gather and learn about a God who loves them and is with them always. Our program has two levels: preschool and school age:
Our preschool/kindergarten program is centered on giving our youngest kids a first impression of their loving heavenly Father.
Everything we teach is based on one of three simple, but powerful, truths. It’s constructed to meet your children where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Through age appropriate activities, children are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to the School Age program, they know these three basic truths:
· God made me.
· God loves me.
· Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Our school age program, for 1st through 6th-graders, is designed to provoke discovery and invite kids into a new understanding of how to grow in relationship with Jesus. It’s dedicated to helping children grow in wisdom, faith and friendship.
Everything we teach in this program is based on one of three basic, but powerful, truths modeled by Jesus:
· I need to make the wise choice.
· I can trust God no matter what.
· I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
In addition to the content taught during the program, parents are equipped with the "Parent Cue" app that allows the same content to be discussed further at home with engaging questions, encouragement and reminders. In combining the efforts of church and home, our goal is to bring kids into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
God's CREW (A Youth Group for 3rd, 4th, & 5th Graders)
Our spring theme is titled, "Pack it up, we're moving out". This study will look at the exodus of God's people. Our six week group is held Wednesdays (March 4-April 8) with dinner at 6:00 PM and group until 7:30 PM. All are welcome! Contact the church office for questions or to sign up.

Engage! High School Youth Ministry
“Love the Lord your God, walk in all his ways, obey his commands, hold firmly to him, and serve him with all your heart and all your soul.” –Joshua 22:5 (NLT)
At its heart, Engage! is a relational ministry. Our focus for high schoolers is to provide connection with their peers, connection with their community, and most importantly, connection with Christ. We believe we can do this by engaging with them in worship, fellowship, prayer, scripture, and service. It is our hope, through these engagements, that they will continue to stay connected to Christ through high school and beyond.
We meet regularly on Sunday evenings from 6:00-8:00pm. During this time, we’ll play a game or do some other crazy activity ("Bigger and Better” anyone?). We then take the opportunity to delve into God’s word. Our study time varies from video or book studies, to current events or open mic (discussing “hot topics”). As always, to accompany all of this awesome-ness, we also have snacks and drinks.
In addition to our weekly meetings, we also offer activities to just have some fun and in service to our community. Movie nights, mini-golf, lock-ins, food pantry, soup kitchen, parents night out, BBQs. Engaging our high schoolers through these activities gives them the opportunity to relax and to put their faith in action.
